Q. Are the taxes included in the rate?
A. Yes, All local taxes are included.
Q. How do I book one of your services?
A. You can book most services online. Others we have to email you the quote. When booking online, once we receive your booking, you will receive an email invoice for payment. Click on the secure link to enter your credit card details. Once payment has been received, an email with your confirmation number & details will be sent.
Q. Can I change the pick up time of my transfer(s)?
A. Yes. We will need at least a 24 hours notice to make a change on your reservation by sending us an email
Q. Can I request for stops along the way to my destination?
A. Yes. You can ask the driver to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner or to take pictures along the way at no extra charge. You can also select a Activities & Tours from various destinations in Costa Rica., check out our Activities.
Q. Do I have to call to confirm my transfers?
A. All private transfers are confirmed when you receive a confirmation number & transfer itinerary with pick up dates and times. There is no need to call, your private driver will always be there to pick you up. If you make any changes in your schedule, call or email us to notify us of the specific change. Changes need to be made at least 24 hours before your transfer.
Q. How do I find the driver at the airport?
A. Once you land at the airport you have to go through customs. Once you finish, the main exit door is the next step to leave the airport. When you get there you have to look for a sign with your name and our company name. One of our representatives is going to be waiting in this area to help you with your luggage and take you to the vehicle.
Q. Is the tip driver’s included in the rate?
A. No. The tip is not included. A normal tip is about 10% of the price. It’s not mandatory.
Q. What if I can not find the driver?
A. Sometimes it is difficult to find the driver when the exit door area gets crowded. If this is the case, we ask you to contact us at 1-800-993-8696 or inside Costa Rica +506 4000 1938 (office).
Q. What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
A. When you make a reservation it is mandatory to provide flight details. We use this information to track your flight. This way we know your exact arrival time or if your flight has been delayed or cancelled. Don't worry we will always be there if your flight has been delayed. For cancelled flights, we can always reschedule your transfers. We always recommend you have travel insurance to protect you towards things that are out of your control.
Q. Where do I wait for the driver if I am being picked up at a hotel?
A. If you are staying in a hotel, we recommend waiting at the lobby or front desk in order to avoid delays.
Q. Will this be a private transfer or do we have to share the Van with others passengers?
A. Our services are private. You do not have to share the van with other passengers except for your companions.
Q. What is the Private Driver Service?
A. This service has all the benefits of having a private driver that is at your disposal for the whole day. Your private driver will be able to transfer you from location to location for activities, tours, sightseeing, and also bring you for dinner in the evening.
Q. What is Price Match Guarantee?
A. If you find the price of a private transfer cheaper than us that offer the same services, we'll try & match it. Certain conditions apply.
Q. When should I book my Day Tours in Costa Rica?
A. We usually ask you at least 7 days before during the Green Season & 30 days before during the High Season
