Save time and enjoy traveling the beautiful picturesque way as we take you from the shores of Montezuma to Jaco Beach by water taxi. We'll be crossing the beautiful Gulf of Nicoya, where you'll probably have the chance of spotting some marine life, like dolphins, manta rays, turtles and if you are lucky even whales, especially from July to October.
The boat ride takes only one hour and is the fastest way to get from Montezuma to Jaco or vice versa. Pickups & drop-offs are available from Jaco to Manuel Antonio, Uvita & Dominical, and from Montezuma to Mal-Pais, Santa Teresa and Tambor. Important Information
- Reservations in advance are required.
- Luggage: 20kg maximum per person, normally one small and one large backpack or suitcases.
- Surf boards and boxes have an extra cost of $10 per piece.
- Bicycles and pets are not accepted.
- During high tide and challenging weather it might be necessary to wait until the tide is more calm.
- There are some periods during the year that for safety reasons the departure location must be changed.
